I think people don't understand the resisting arrest thing

I mean I hate the police state, don't get me wrong. But if we're going to have a police force, they have to be able to force a person into containment for breaking laws

If you can't forcefully arrest someone, well no one would be arrested cuz you'd just resist. There has to be a consequence of resisting, and the only thing that can be done is to overcome the resistance

So this is the natural outcome. I mean fuck, if you're wrongfully arrested you should be able to sue for a shit ton of money. Make it worth a person's while, so it's justified to go along with it till you can prove your innocence

But yeah if you die being arrested cuz you resisted and they had to restrain you - you get what you had coming. Don't. Even if it's just for the sake of your own safety.
