Its all the misguided idea that "wind" and "solar" or "wave" energy is all "free". You do not get to take energy from a system without that system losing something. In this case as you stated the windspeed is reduced due to pushing the wind turbines. In solar, the ground is cooler because you are shielding it from the sun that the panel uses to extract energy. There is no free energy and the failure to understand this is a major problem of the "green" push.
