the warming effect of carbon dioxide emissions from oil, gas and coal

People just can't seem to get over that lie. CO2 does NOT cause warming by any appreciable amount.

They're probably underestimating the impact of wind turbines. By reducing the surface wind speed (by extracting kinetic energy from it) they will reduce the effects of evaporation, which cold the surface through the latent heat of evaporation of water. This will be much more apparent for offshore wind turbines. The amount of energy transported upward in the atmosphere through evaporation is significant and much more that the losses due to kinetic energy. The wind turbines are a spanner in the works of Earth's natural cooling system. Maybe a small spanner at this point, but a spanner none the less.

They have been pushing the CO2 lie for at least 30 years that I remember. With age comes wisdom, I know everything they say is a lie now.

Its all the misguided idea that "wind" and "solar" or "wave" energy is all "free".

You do not get to take energy from a system without that system losing something. In this case as you stated the windspeed is reduced due to pushing the wind turbines.

In solar, the ground is cooler because you are shielding it from the sun that the panel uses to extract energy.

There is no free energy and the failure to understand this is a major problem of the "green" push.
