Solar panels become less efficient as temperatures rise.

I'd like to see a graph on this. By "less efficient" do they mean the panels lose a few percentage points of electrical output, or does the output drop off a cliff?

You do know what heat does to electronics I hope. At a certain point it's a cliff. IF that's 76F or not I don't know but surely it's not a simple linear downward trend.

Years ago I saw a show on TV, one of those homes of the rich and famous(?), of a tour of Larry Hagmans' (I Dream of Jeanie, JR in Dallas) house in the hills above Santa Barbara. He had a massive solar array, and pointed out a water misting system on the back of the panels to make them more efficient in the summer.
