"By 2050, it's predicted that the world will need to dispose of two million tons of wind turbine blade waste every year. In the UK, the volume already exceeds 100,000 tons per year." "by 2050, up to 78 million tons of solar panels will have reached the end of their life and the world will create another six million tons of photovoltaic waste every year." Oh wow, so green!!?!?!

Now this is what I call an environmental disaster. Not to mention the millions of birds these things have killed.

There is a huge push for way more investment in wind power so expect a LOT more of this stuff. The banks are using ES&G scores to control the economy and this is part of that bullshit. Nothing like killing the planet while virtue signalling plus making a lot of shekels at the same time.

I've been warning about this for years.

First, the blades spin extremely fast in relation to the flight of birds, making collisions very common. Aside from the ecological damage of harming both local and migrating bird populations, this damages the blades. There have been cases of blades shearing off and flying hundreds of yards away, striking human structures and vehicles at times. I wouldn't be surprised if a human has been harmed by one of these projectiles.

Then there is the threat of frost and ice being flung off the blades and doing similar damage.

And you can't control the weather - you can't demand that wind blow. What happens during peak and on demand energy times when there is insufficient wind?

Coming home from work today, I passed near an area where there is about a dozen wind turbines. Also, there was no wind. Guess how much current they were producing...

"Green" activists are fucking morons who are so gullible they accepted easily disproven ideas about environmentalism from kikes who wanted to sell more product.

Well hey now, they will tell you about how they aren't a recycling issue now, one single company takes a very small portion of those blades and they make fiber for concrete out of them.

See it's not so bad. Oof.
