Would not have solved anything. The events that transpired needed to occur to kill off important people that owned a specific patent if I recall correctly.

The Titanic had much less casualties than implied, it was not full or anywhere near capacity when it left for sea, hence why the pictures show many "missing" people when it started to sink

It was on fire before it left port. The federal reserve act would not have passed if it didn't sink.
