Agreed. Billie Potts (Pearl Mackie) was as dumb as a brick and Capaldi barely made muster. As a side note, I heard at the time an interview with Mackie on NPR of all places. "What's it like to be The Doctor's first *black* companion?" WTH? Seriously? I must have just imagined Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman), who was quite decent. Anyway, I wrote off Who even though I loved it once. Woke shit has ruined nearly every piece of sci-fi I can think of. Even post-series wokeism. I can't stand David Tennant now, though he made a decent Doctor. And ST:TNG after *Picard* thanks to that steaming turd and Whoopi. Woke shit sucks.
