I think all the ones here closed years ago.
Max & Erma's did a similar thing. They were 'The neighborhood gathering place" - burgers, some oddball specials, the bathtub sundae bar, and a good bar. Always full. Then they shifted what they wanted to be and nobody came. They didn't necessarily go woke, they turned their back on the crowd that made them money. Turn out "Ladies Who Lunch" don't buy burgers and beer. They buy a salad and get a glass of water.
