Target won't "learn" they're beholden to criminals, not consumers. We've seen the tables turn: corporations are now feudal lords, not providers of goods or services. Consumers are not part of their business model anymore. The problem is people still believe the old model still exists. Except, we witness over and over that their behavior is anti-consumer. This isn't out of stupidity, this is their new business. The model works like this: organized criminals tell corporations they will pay them to subvert society by pretending to do the same things they always have. Except now, the goods being produced have nothing to do with what consumers want. The services provided can be used as a weapon. For example banking. When the real customers (aka criminals) want to punish someone, the banks are told not to serve that consumer. Car manufacturers are told to build vehicles that look like cars and trucks, but behave very differently.
