I understand BUD customers better than I do Target customers. BUD has lost 25%-30% of it's loyal customers forever, they are spiritually and physically repulsed by the brand now. There may have been a mini-impact but most corporations would just fold and give in from fear of bad PR impacting future sales. In the case of progressives boycotting Chic-Filet, sales went through the roof as conservatives in their cars lined up around the block to support them. TBH, I wasn't all that aware of Gillette and Levis boycotts. Was it real or just imagined - ie did it seriously impact sales or stock price? If not, it wasnt a real boycott effort.
