The term "eat your own words" was a literal punishment. Galileo was forced to eat the pages of his book about the heliocentric solar system. I would have no trouble drinking the JD then pissing it out. Mind you though, I wouldn't be buying any more of it. As an aside, I've always been leery of alcohol brewed in a dry county.
