It will be Microsoft's Clippy for your car.

  • I see the posted speed limit is less than your speed, would you like me to set the cruise control for you?

  • Would you like to help the climate by selecting a higher cabin temperature? 78 degrees is comfortable for most people.

  • Your check engine light is on. You should take me to your GM dealer for service.

  • Are you waiting to pick somebody up? Why don't you turn the car off and open the windows for some fresh air?

  • Are you driving alone again? I can help you arrange a carpool.

  • You could use an ice scraper to clear your windows on cold days. Shall I take to somewhere that sells them? Meanwhile I will continue to turn off before the ice melts.

Forever.

Brilliant! I see you've thought about this already.

Dave, I can't drive you there. There will be independent thought at that protest, it's against WEF and government objectives.

Dave, I hope you don't mind if we pick up these POCs, they can't afford a vehicle and you have plenty of space.

Don't forget how they ruined toilets.

Did you even know they ruined crock pots, too? Nothing is safe from these vandals.

[–] 1 pt

Could you elaborate? I haven't heard this one before.

There was too much foodborne illness associated with crock pots so they designed them to elevate the temperature rapidly to 170 to kill germs before switching to slow cook operation. Now they overcook everything and then keep it warm. Meat cooked to 170 is well done.

This was done either by regulation or as a result of lawsuit. I think Jeffrey Tucker wrote about this. No tender pot roast for you with a crock pot.

Oh God yes, and my shower.

In that case, I recommend High Sierra showerheads. It's low-flow so it doesn't use up the hot water as fast, and it's basically a pressure washer nozzle so it has good power too. I've been using one for years and love it. Plus, it's made in the USA.

They have the color I need to match my existing fixtures, hell yeah. Thanks for posting this.

Since the day I installed Windows 3.1 from floppys and continuing to the present, I have never, ever, not one single time received a benefit from Windows "Help" or "Troubleshooting" guides.

"Hey Car, why is my engine smoking? What is wrong?"

[in annoyed librarian voice] "Have you checked the air in your tires lately? Incorrect tire pressure is a contributor to reduced gas mileage and excessive emissions."

"No, seriously, my shit looks like it's on fire."

"Your vehicle is powered by an internal combustion engine which burns hydrocarbons as a means of developing torque. Toxic emissions from an internal combustion engine is normal. You should consider selecting from GM's new line of EV vehicles."

"I think I see flames."

"Your authorized GM dealer has all the original GM parts and GM trained technicians necessary to customize your vehicle's appearance, including flames, rainbow flags, and pinstriping and tinting.

"Fuck this car!"

"Remember, just like last month and every month before that, it's Chevy Truck Month! New models are arriving daily. See you local Chevy dealer for details."

the government has already broken my dishwasher

You don't deserve to have a dishwasher, then.

Now corporations

I thought it was "government", but now it's "corporations".

are breaking our vehicles by imposing woke AI.

You bought a car with "AI" in it? You don't deserve to have a car.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

You can use government and corporations interchangeably now. The WEF has ensured they work in partnership.

I'd love to buy a car today that didn't have some form of connected OnStar, Enform, etc cellular network that sends telemetry data and can remotely control your vehicle.

Further, these "private corporations" are installing AI cameras in the cabin to detect if you're not capable of driving said vehicle. Of course, it's for our own good, don't you know. The AI will never make the wrong decision and government would never use these features to block people from driving their vehicles for ESG purposes or to help the environment.

"I have detected a comment from the occupants of this vehicle which might be considered offensive to a marginalized group. Your comments have been recorded and will be played for local authorities when they arrive to determine appropriate actions.

The vehicle will now come to a safe stop. Please do not attempt to exit the vehicle. The authorities have been given a code to restart the vehicle once their investigation is complete."
