The world is experiencing many types of fatigue: Franchise fatigue, capeshit fatigue, negro fatigue, social justice fatigue, platform fatigue, nostalgia fatigue, setting fatigue, woman fatigue... Everything is the same! Pushing the same buttons, triggering the same thoughts and emotions, reusing the same few plots, and creating the same stale cast of characters. Characters have gotten so monotone, you can describe them who and what they are purely by their actors: the Dwayne Johnson character, the Samuel L Jackson character, the Keanu Reeves, the Ryan Gosling character...

The mouse is too safe to be innovative. The mouse invested in a century long business plan of film releases, with the template scripts and characters ready to go with an agenda to beat out. The tighter they grasp culture control, the more of it has slipped through their fingers.

This isn’t hard. You just give people the content they want without commentary or social engineering, or at least keeping the social engineering subtle and minimal.

Even faerie tales had an intention to promote certain ideas and mores, but they had to entertain before they could work. They also worked with parents rather than against them, partly because the parents controlled and disseminated the media their children accessed and ingested.
