In an effort to cancel-out their huge miscalculation, it appears the Salvation Army is stepping up their guilt-game.
Doubt this is nationwide (but wouldn’t surprise me), but they posted a fully-uniformed special needs person out in front of my local grocery store to do their bidding.
This guy had a serious hustle going on too: he was shagging carts as people unloaded their groceries into their cars, forcing the uncomfortable acknowledgment that, “Oh! So you MEANT to not give a special needs Officer of The Salvation Army some love!”
After the guy got blanked, he staggered right up to a couple walking in (waaaay too close to them too, because he can get away with it) and asked them, “Would you like a carFFt?”

They tried to politely refuse, but he was going hard-sell when finally the cringefest got the best of me and I fled into the store.

Some guy pulls this scam about "would you like to enter a lottery" while in a wheelchair and speaking the way he thinks all retards do (my sister is literally retarded, and no, she does not sound like that) all over town, but mostly near the liquor store in the party section of town and a grocery store in the jewish part of town that has a lot of small foot traffic stores and a lot of the college students live there because it's upscale compared to the area with all the universities yet is only a 5 minute bus ride to them. He's even more blood boiling than the "I'm selling candy for school" niggers who are obviously skipping school and the candy was probably stolen.
