Your governments and billionaires aren’t rushing to build bunkers and escape rockets, stealing all of your resources through war spending, and letting your entire infrastructure collapse by accident. While pushing “agenda 2030” down your throats.

They know about the 12,000 year cycles. They need you distracted and fooled into believing the increasing weather anomalies are because of Karen’s minivan and cow burps.

12,000 years ago is the approximate date multiple researchers agree the last major cataclysm occurred (coinciding with the Younger Dryas Impact theory?).

12,000 years ago (roughly 9,600 BC) is the date Egyptian priests gave Solon for the destruction of Atlantis, which Plato officially recorded.

12,000 years ago—and every 12,000 years before that—official Greenland ice core samples show drastic, rapid shifts between arctic and tropical climates.

Probably all coincidences.

Have enough supplies and ammo to last you a while. If you don't care whether you make it or not, think of people you love that might. Also, crises have a way of waking the self preservation drive in even the most jaded individuals.

Do you believe in God and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior? Is this the sort of disaster that our heavenly Father would cast upon us? Is it the End of Times or just an solar/planetary cycle? Is there Christian religious writings on such a disaster and its effects? Think about it.

Too much "prepper" mindset in those last words. How much supplies and ammo? One year's worth? Five year's worth? 100 year's worth? When would the world improve to not need to defend yourself from the hordes? Who would try rebuilding or even have the abilities to in the first place? Sure there would be some who could, but if they are killed by starving niggers looting their progress all along the way, who will continue on or know how?

We have never known such a world collapsing disaster so how could we know what to do or how? This is the prepper's fallacy. It's meant to sell guns, ammo, supplies and false hope. It's like being on the Titanic and being fully prepared to repair the ship and bail out the water as the ship sinks. You may have the resources, the knowledge, the drive and the incentive to try to save the ship but in the end you don't have a chance because it's just too big and too fast to overcome. This is the SHTF scenario we are always faced with in a nutshell. I'm not being pessimistic. I'm being realistic. I'll put my faith in God that this is not what he has planned for us at this time or the near future.

I'm not a very religious person but I do know the Lord helps those who help themselves. That does not mean the total absence of belief in a higher power. I just had a few disappointments with conventional religion :)

This joke kind of illustrates what I mean, you probably heard a version of it before:

A man is drowning A boat comes by and the sailors say, ”Sir, do you need help?”. The man says,”No thanks, God will save me”. Another boat comes by and they ask, ”Do you need help? You’re gonna die.” The man replies,”No thanks God will save me.”

The man drowns and asks God, ”Why didn’t you save me?” God replies,”You dumbass, I sent you two boats.”

When I say you'll need some way to defend yourself, that doesn't mean to blast at everything that moves but there will be bad people and there will be situations where it comes in handy to have some kind of force amplifier to defend against the truly desperate and evil. After a while a community of good people will hopefully emerge, knowing there's strength in numbers and be wise enough to help each other just to get through the next winter, for example.

If it's true (I think it is) that these events are cyclical, we have not only known such situations, humanity has been filtered through several of them and recovered. There's always hope, but only for the hopeful.

The titanic metaphor is no really adequate here, at least not the saving the ship part. But concentrating on the survival of your immediate group and, in your example, having an inflatable raft is doable and not an insurmountable hurdle. If you find yourself under a mile of water, well, it's not your fault you die. If you drown 10 yards from the coastline, it might be.

I find it peculiar that some people react so defensive, whenever this subject comes up. It's just a warning and in no way can I make anyone do or not do a tiny little thing about it. I just don't like the idea of knowing about this coming catastrophe with some amount of certainty and then turning around and not telling those that mean something to me. That would feel wrong.
