I started doing that in 2015. I got about half way through reams and reams of photos, negatives and slides before taking a long break. I bought a high resolution backlit Canon CanoScan 9000F scanner just for this purpose. I hope to finish them in the next couple of years. Get them all on a thumb drive so I can peruse them on the big screen tv in my old age.
