Oh ffs, "don't trust anyone over 30" was the mantra for the hippies.
There is a difference in the two. When the hippies said it they meant anyone over 30 that was telling them to stop being degenerate trash and get themselves up and get to Work! When genx says it we mean we don't trust anyone! Ever! About Anything! The hippies didn't want to hear any advice from older people period. The gen xers will listen to any advice but want to check it out themselves before just jumping in with both feet!
The hippies were a bunch of low information voters riding a wave of new pharmaceuticals.
Yup!
That and those giving them advice are the boomer former hippies.
“Get a job like I did, and save all your money in banks.”
GTFO "it's the establishment man!" There is no difference between one generation pissing and moaning about how hard life is and how it's the older generation's fault "if only they'd fill-in-the-blank". Grow up and face the world, get a job pay bills listen and watch mainstream media, grow older and listen to the younger generation blame you for their woe is me. Same shit different day.
It's not "legal" yet in my state.
Nobody said anything about that.
