You should use pic8 short link instead of one of the links it's redirecting to, because if imgsafe link goes down your post will be broken.
But what if pic8 goes down?

Pic8 had a few short downtimes in its early days. It is now rock solid (its been for months).
As an image proxy, it doesn’t host a single picture, so it cannot be shut down. It also doesn’t track you at all (No logs).
I tried that first but got a "500 Internal Service Error" when trying to upload the url to pic8.
that's because, as I explained in your previous post, blogspot websites usually block hot-linking. So you should save the pic in your device (computer or phone/tablet) and upload it in pic8.
Then copy the short link it's gonna give you and submit that link to poal.
