I hate maintaining a lawn. It is so stupid. It costs money and time and provides nothing but "look, a green lawn". When we move I hope to have a much larger property. I will be seeding clover all over the damn place to crowd out the grass and to help with soil quality, pollinators, etc. I was not sure if there was a better sub for this so its here...

Hear-hear.

We dug out edges out front and planted blueberry, fig, and a peach tree... apple trees tangentially, when we moved in. Fuck mowing, I'd rather reap a utilitarian 'yard' than treat useless turf.

Turned up 50% of usable back yard for raised beds.
