Last year I posted the ONE apple we finally got from our trees (we have three apple: Pink Lady, Honeycrisp, and Wolf River). This is our 6th year with them, we bought them as yearlings so we understood it was gonna take some time. A fall settled and the trees went dormant, we finally did some pruning and training, and this year they just took off. Each tree presented with red and blossoms which it turned out the red blossom formed the calyx. This, in essence, determined that each tree budded hundreds of apples. This was the pic just before we thinned out each tree yesterday (took at least 200 apples off in total). They're gonna be so damned happy. We're stoked to finally get homegrown apples this year. Peach decided to not produce this year, we assume it was due to the inordinate temp flux's.

Will update as we go!
