Planted these baby apple trees 4 years ago (Pink Lady; Honeycrisp; Wolf Creek). We finally picked our first apple today - size of a softball.

Not a bad weight either - think it was meant to be.

thanks, dude - it was pretty damned good. you certainly won't get 'em from the grocery. I'm stoked it came from our own yard.

you're spot on - gonna go for applesauce as well (maybe next year after we have had a chance to train the tree now we have fruit). We've got a ton of pumpkins to get roasted for pies and other things such as stew additions (roasted pumpkin is next-level with a roasted white fish) - I'll grab a photo of what we've harvested thus far.
