Bird baths end up gross and algae coated if theyre not maintained, which theyre usually not. I put out suet feeders in the winter, which attract a wide variety of birds. In the spring the fuckers nest under the overhang of my roof. Have to pull into the garage or i know theyll shit on my truck. Ive thought about knocking the nests down but theyve been using the same ones for years, it would kinda be a dick move.
I used to live in a swallow neighborhood, I know what you mean. The little fuckers made nests on top of the front door lights, shit and feathers everyday from April to June. Watching the little ones learn to fly at the beginning of summer was worth it though, the whole family perched around to cheer them on. By July most of them left and I could finally clean that shit up
It started out with robins, then their nests started being used by swallows and starlings. No shit ill get 3 species of bird using the same nests every year now, like theyre wajting in line, its retarded.
