Interesting. I'll have to look into it a bit. I'd thought about experimenting with distilling too, so that would be a good thing to practice on.

My husband said to make oil, after havesting the sun flower seeds, you ground them up, add some lye and alchohol, than place in a still (not sure of spelling or amounts sorry)

What size of still do people generally use for that? I'd looked into buying a copper one to play with, but also saw where people make them out of old hot water heater tanks for stuff.
