Got 30 planted. These are Yellow Bantam heirloom from a ~5 year old survival pack type of seed pack. Looks like at least half are going to come up. Had some going last year, but started too late and they croaked in the mid summer heat. These should be big enough to stick in the ground in a month or so. Would be nice to get a few ears for seed and a few to eat.

You're gonna need a lot more than 12 plants to get proper fertilization. Start a few more more trays of seedlings since they don't take long to sprout. Like, a lot more trays.

Corn also does better when planted directly into the ground.

But enjoy your harvest! I can't wait to get some in the ground.
