I agree. Built my own this year too. Won't ever pay off directly but the experience of building it, and learning to grow food, is worth something.

Ya, it's my 5th year overbuilding and gardening. I'm learning that just cause it will grow doesn't mean you will eat more than your compost pile. Spaghetti squash is one of my new staples
