VR would be awesome.
Did you build that machine for anything specific? Those are impressive specs. I'm running an older setup 3570k with a 960. I mostly play csgo and other low demanding games, been waiting on a reason to upgrade.
Component Reasoning is all over the place
GPU - VR sim-racing / 144hz+ gaming and Video Rendering
CPU - $200 lightly used, killer deal imo and don't want to bottleneck the GPU
RAM - Astrophotography image stacking programs like Deep Sky Stacker and Registax (the latter consuming nearly 20GB with large frame counts)
I had a 960/FX8350 for a while, but knew it couldn't handle 144hz+ so I had to upgrade. For VR you'll definitely need a 1070/2060 Super or better and a 3700X/8700K or better to get by without sacrificing quality (which is the main draw for me in a flight sim besides the obvious sim experience).
