As an amateur gamedev I've been curious how he is creating the game. I'm surprised SCUMM hadn't popped into my mind. I did a little research and looks like it was just used at LucasArts and SCUMMVM emulates that, and also supports other point and click engines. Either way it's definitely looking up to the standard of those LucasArts classics.
