The game is beautiful. The music is amazing. The combat is fun and challenging.

On max settings I'm getting ~45 FPS with a Ryzen 7 3800X / 32 GB RAM / 2800S. A SSD is required for the game.

It's been awhile since I have played a game like this, but my son got it for me at Christmas and it's been really fun.

I do take issue with some of the story making the male look weak and the woman being the one who has to make him pull it together. I will look past that for now. I'm still early in the game, hopefully this aspect of the story improves.

I should go back and finish it. The story just didn't grab me at all. I like most of the characters but the story was just not for me.

I hate a lot of story in games. I'm of the age where there wasn't a lot of story because it had to fit on the limited media. Now it's something I tolerate to get to the game play. So far it hasn't put me off.

What was the last time you actually loved a game's story?

I'm not sure I've ever really loved a story. I recent replayed Chrono Trigger, that's a good classic one. To be fair, I usually don't play games with stories. I'm more into stuff like Rim World and Oxygen Not Included. I played Ultima Online for years and while based in the Ultima universe the game itself didn't really have a story.
