This was a great game for the time. I played the first of three sections (freeware) but never had the money to buy the rest when it came out. It had a great .CMF soundtrack as well, I still have those in my music directory somewhere, long since converted to .mp3.

Gave it a quick try on my Ubuntu box. It's free, so what the hey. At first I had libFLAC.so.8 error. Cleared that up with: ln -s /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libFLAC.so.12 ~/GOG\ Games/Jill\ of\ the\ Jungle\ The\ Complete\ Trilogy/dosbox/libs/x86_64/libFLAC.so.8

Fun game. The arrow keys didn't work, so I used the ones on the number pad, little awkward. You weren't kidding about the soundtrack.

Do you know a way to play these without actually playing the game?

Many years ago there were rippers to take the CMF files out of the actual program code, since they're essentially just in there in compartments. Those were all back in the days when DOS 5.0 was still king, I don't know how you'd go about finding them these days.

I probably still have the episode 1 files somewhere, I will take a look this week and see if I can locate them.
