This is the website for Decentraland:
https://decentraland.org/

The game lets you build on parcels of virtual land who's ownership and owner-customized content is recorded on blockchain, so it's decentralized and, supposedly, uncensorable.

Note the cartoony cell-shaded art style. I'm not saying this aesthetic is wrong for the project, but I've observed it to be a common symptom of pozzed culture. (It's an easier, low-effort graphic style so it's preferred by people with poor work ethic. (Though I don't mean to discredit the work done on the project.)). This gives me the impression there may be some people involved with this who don't realize the full implications of decentralization. The cure for the poz is basic property rights, and that's just what this game is all about, so I think it may turn out to be an interesting experiment and eye opening experience for players.

If it really is decentralized, what's stopping Decentraland from being turned into Decentrareich? Know what I'm saying?

Maybe start buying LAND now before the game goes live, if you think you'd have fun with this.

I'm into crypto so I heard about this around when they did their ICO. The associated token is call MANA and you need it to buy LAND. I haven't invested but I'm on their newsletter mailing list. They just sent a letter advising to to call dibs on usernames and make avatars. You can go here for that: https://avatars.decentraland.org/home
