Steam has gotten really good at moving across devices. I can play on my desktop connected to the TV then when I'm gone I can play on my laptop. My settings, key binds, and saved games all sync between them.

Switch's biggest advantage was making it easy to play when you're not home in front of a TV. I think they've really lost that advantage since Switch came out. I saw a lot of value in that hardware being able to travel and bring it places, but that value is not what it used to be if I can use Steam.

I was really happy with Wii U, and pretty happy with Switch, but Nintendo is going to have to make some really good exclusives for me to buy one, even if I don't consider this fucked up news.
