The devs 100% knew exactly how this would play out. I can see the conversation now. The gender goblin insisting on inclusive representation. Devs rolling their eyes. A dev puts his hand up. "What if we include a pride parade?" he asks with angelic innocence.
"That's a great idea," she/they exclaims with great enthusiasm, never having played GTA before.
Another dev snickers.
"What was that?" she/they asks, confused.
"Dust in my nose," the dev says, pretending to cough as he covers his mouth so she can't see his grin.
"We'll get right on the pride parade," the first dev says with complete sincerity.
"Make sure there are lots of them!" she/they insists. "And they need to be big! With lots of people!"
"They'll be EVERYWHERE," the dev promises. "The players will have every opportunity to, uh ... INTERACT with them."
