This is a Switch remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, which came out in 2004 on the Gamecube. My resources tell me that any references of this character being a tranny or crossdresser that were kept in the original Japenese version were removed in the English and German translations during the original release. This is new dialog that was not in the original English release of the game. Essentially, this game had always been woke to an extent, but now it's even more woke.
