Ubuntu dropping 32bit. Never used that garbage pile but this seems like a surefire way to make all the newbs exodus away instantly. Also clickbait title as well should be "Ubuntu to no longer natively supporting Steam or 32 bit binaries/libs." There will be a PPA or whatever they call it up in no time.

I don't see the appeal of video games anymore. Used to be fun when I was younger. But I guess I just grew out of that distraction.

I don't think that's a smart move from canonical if their focus is making Linux (and consequently Ubuntu) more popular. I understand that it's the right move technically speaking, getting rid of the bloat and focusing on the 64 bit system. But maybe something like a 4 year chronogram would help.
