Sometimes I'm in the mood for a roguelike game, but I usually get over it quickly because moat of them have no inherent storyline. Some of them have procedurally generated things that are like a story, which is cool, but a lot of these games like baseline Minecraft lack it. Which is nuts considering the really cool creative mods with interesting quests and stories worth playing. But the baseline game isn't worth $40 itself. It's really just access to mods or minecraft as an accessible creative tool.
