With Steam and most importantly CCP Games (Icelandic developers of EVE Online) ending support for win7/8, it appears I have a choice of win10 or 11.

From what experience I have with windows 10 (work PCs and a laptop), I really dont like that OS.

So I'm curious about 11.. is it worse?

I'm not really considering linux an option, because developers obviously cater to the overwhelming market share for windows. Linux and MacOS are afterthoughts, and you have to keep in mind that some software won't run on the platforms.

In 10 years, I can't think of a single program I missed from windows. I CAN say, however, if I went to windows, there ARE programs I would miss from Linux.

youtubedl, pithos, and dolphin. I know dolphin works cross platform, but in my experience, it runs much better in Linux than Windows.
