Games like these are "simulated combat trainers." They've gone well beyond the scope of entertainment years ago. If players "play by the honor code" now, they'll be less likely to commit war crimes in the real world later. Wonder how much tech was "leaked" (given) to the makers of the games named in the article. Guessing the DOD likes the fact that their incoming drone pilots have already logged countless hours on these "totally not flight simulators/war game sims that gamers paid for themselves and played voluntarily."
