Regardless of what it's original intent/product/service was at it's inception, once any organization becomes fully converged, it likewise becomes entirely incapable of fulfilling it's core function, because 100% of all the available resources (man-hours, clock cycles, etc) become devoted to fulfilling it's new (mal)function, that is, being "woke" all the time.
Anyone of any competence who is left after HR becomes converged, reads the wind and flees before the first "code of conduct" is ever issued. Those that are left, or hired after the convergence has begun, are perfectly happy to keep collecting a paycheck even as the building is obviously burning down around them. After which they will simply repeat the process by going in search of a new host to parasitize until it dies too.
