Hello. My dad wants me to find a scrabble-like mobile app (he’s Android, I’m iOS).

It’s been ages and ages since I played a game like this and don’t know which to choose.

Wishlist: - turn alerts/notifications - simple (not interested in tons of animations) - no misleading ads (for Dad) - no intrusive ads (I’d pay for “premium” or ad-free) - a timer for your turn (say 3 minutes to play once you’ve opened the game for your turn)

Can someone help me find a suitable candidate? Thank in advance.

The words with friends app is identical to scrabble, but for mobile devices.

I haven’t played it in a few years now, but they didn’t require any personal info back when I did.

EA Scrabble used to work cross platform. I'm unsure if it still does.

Words with friends, & Scrabble go are the other ones I know of.

Thanks for replying. I’m going to check out Scrabble Go after I try WordFeud. I read to put Scrabble Go on “classic” mode.

Idk about hitting all your points, but wordfeud was pretty good.

Always Words With Friends. It's the king of the genre.
