All I've ever really played are "old games". Pinochle, Rummy, Hearts, Bridge, etc, etc.

Of course with the young'ns it's usually catch, target shooting, etc. (anything active and outdoors)

'games' only take place when the work is done and typically in the winter.

This is why I will continue to pirate games, and only ever purchase it if it is of my liking.

i don't even pirate anymore, i refuse to play them.

Good luck. I stop to pirate new games.. but also movies, TV series. I don't want this shit even for free!

Thing about the gaming industry is it has to compete with every single game that has ever existed before it. This is different than even the music or movie industry. Ultimately movies and music aren't that difficult to make. But games are incredibly difficult to make. Also movies in particular don't have any replay-ability value.

Video games have a pricing mechanism, Marxism doesn't.
