You can only get smarter by playing a smarter opponent. I can destroy the computer at chess if I play the computer enough, even on the hardest difficulty, but a human player is different. It's the difference between live instruments and electronic music, it's the little mistakes that musicians make that makes them stand out.
Chess, what a joke. Immersing yourself into chess is like immersing yourself in playing horseshoes to me or checkers. It's impossible without a storyline like the town of Tristram but chess is move this then that. Like lame final fantasy turn based not realtime. Not even a comparable scenario. Hell becoming the character is what is best but with "Hey you need to buy this". Fuck the people that buy Diablo 4 with purchases in game should do a class action lawsuit again that jerkoff in the story with the game devs as witnesses on how that asshole fucked up the entire game and made it all but impossible to win without paying through the nose.
Alternative would be sue but firing him forever and a contract that blizzard is not allowed to monitize a game without stating in non fine print on the box that, you cannot win with just buying the game no matter how much talent you have. Not a game if you must pay more than once it's a scam and a shitty company with that asshole in the mix.
I appreciate chess, you have to plan ahead. Chess is cause and effect, fighting is the closest thing to chess. Rather play chess long term than fight though.
I don't fight, I don't revenge, I just do my best for me and avoid all stress and conflict since if I do snap I might be the one with a large rock smashing in the persons brain for 20 minutes straight without a clue what I'm doing since that last person I hit I was told since I don't remember knocking him out at all. I snap it's just gonna be bloody since that means my soul took a break and said "Do what you want, I'm not looking". If I'm pressed to hard it might be the innocent one that takes the stress release and doesn't see it since snapping is instant and brutal, it's my survival mechanism and if it happens there will be sorrow but it won't be planned and no angel on my shoulder telling me I should think since the other shoulders devil will be choking down the angel and then raping it in the face.
