I suspect a lot of accounts have been abandoned already due to the fact that you have to migrate your old mojang account over to a Microsoft XBOX account and profile in order to continue playing. Microsoft wants a lot of information to do that. I just went through my historical email records and found the transaction IDs for my accounts, and asked for them to be deleted.
