Exactly. They proclaim diversity, but any remnant of ethnicity is deemed "stereotypical" and is replaced with a standard American equivalent. And yet they call everyone else colonizers.

That's it.... according to their warped minds, any characteristic that is associated with any culture is somehow bad and must be removed. Think aunt gemina, the landolakes indian woman, the taco bell dog, etc.

They arbitrarily decide what passes and what doesn't and it always ends with them replacing it with a cultureless equivalent. Think, "corporate clip art" style of assimilation.

Fu Manchu, baby. He is an Oriental character in a series of novels by Sax Rohmer. The name became associated with the character's distinctive style of moustache. Fu Manchu is a bad person who commits crimes, such as abducting white women for Chinese slavers (which, by the way, did happen in the 19th century and early 20th centuries, and probably still happens).
