Not really a CS player. Soldier of Fortune 2, Battlefield: 1942 and Vietnam, Jedi Knight 2, Unreal Tournament. Then they gayed it all up with achievements and unlocks.

Respect for Counterstrike tho. It's the last pure VS FPS isn't it?

I'd say so. They have put great effort into assuring it is balanced and no paid advantages.

Ive been playing CS since it was a half life mod. CS: Condition Zero was my jam till I got to beta test CS:S. CS:S is the best CS game. CS:GO.... I just cant get into like I could before.

Also cs_assault is my fav map.

Source is good, but I actually like 1.6 better.

Assault is fun, a lot of people still play it. They had a good hostage map on the last operation, Insertion II.

It's a good map, but seems like it has the most toxic players.
