Yes I know. Fucking amazon and all that goes with it...

Motherfuckers have to buy shit somewhere. Back to the fucking game...

Did you like Mirrors edge? Do you like Star Wars?

If the answer to one of these is no. You'll not want to waste the 50G of disk space to install yet another massive EA failure.

its graphics, that my PC cant handle at 1080, 3060Ti, Ryzen 9 3900 (not the latest, but still fucking ridiculously fast). Or are horrible blurred representations, I assume because you are expected to stay moving, to the point where stopping to look around at some points, will kill you from gravity - thus the mirrors edge reference initially.

There is no reference. you are opened to a mission that requires you to watch... as the character does things, with lots of jumping at the right location, which arent at all marked, but are the only exact location you can jump at to progress. Annoying, and it gets worse from there.

I played this a couple of months ago via ea's subscription system that comes included with microsoft's gamepass ultimate (found a 2 month free code on the Internet). It's actually not too bad IMO. Too many niggers though. Thankfully the main character is a white male, which made some modern game "journos" seethe.

I have a similar pc to yours OP (3060TI, ryzen 3600X) and the game ran mostly at 120fps for me at 1080p. There are certain sections where it's very CPU limited though (such as that planet with a lot of green), and it does have stuttering issues that seem to occur in several unreal engine 4 games. I think it's a problem that's sadly inherent in the engine.

I was running it on Linux. Through Wine. Can't say I know the engine. Not even sure what games run on it. Not that search engines dont exist.

That explains it. I don't think nvidia's drivers are as good on linux unfortunately. And how do you not know about unreal engine? It's one of the most prominent ones in the industry. Thousands of games have been made using it. You can always check the jewkipedia article on the engine if you're curious about what games you've played that's been made using it.

Its not like i haven't heard of the engine. I just cant be bothered to look into what games run on what engine. Its not something i particularly care about.
