They just need to make a game especially for this purpose, where you can use any cheats possible. Then everyone who is interested in cheats will be busy playing with this game. It's like graffiti. After graffiti were allowed to be painted on some walls, people quit painting on random walls anywhere in the cities.

there are a couple of online shooters that already do exactly that.

you dont get banned for cheating

you just only get matched up with other cheaters and get banned from tournaments.

which is either a blessing or a curse depending on how good you are with your cheats.

Are they popular? Never heard about them.

Titanfall 1 and 2 had cheater pools. If you got caught, they'd put you in. Ironically, one butthurt hacker eventually succeeded in killing the games after EA took full control of Respawn Entertainment and forced the company to stop maintaining them in lieu of some stupid cash cow title called Apex Legends.

People have gone as far as to reverse engineer the game to find a solution, given it to the devs, and the devs still won't fix it. Both games have been unplayable for over a year and still are. Yet EA has no problem continuing to sell these games that can't be played.

The whole story behind it is as interesting as it is infuriating.

Really? I was just thinking about reinstalling tf2 on my PS4 yesterday. Is it bad on console too or mostly restricted to pc hackers?
