Dial random numbers and make up a bizarre story. See how long you can keep the mark engaged.
If you are comfortable with GPS (which you may as well be with a smartphone), I'd recommend Orna. Totally free, no ads and a dev dedicated to regular updates.
It's a retro RPG, plenty of arcane stats to ponder, with a multitude of classes and abilities to choose. Regional chat is fun and helpful.

Was just gonna say the same thing. There's plenty of stats and character building to optimize, if that's what you enjoy about rpgs.
Plus, it doesn't really pressure you to play at specific times or every day, like other games in that category. Go at your own pace.

I play. I’m ranked 1325 or so right now. Not so great.

Terraria. Although I've heard the mobile controls are tough to get used to.
The best games for phone will be an emulator with roms.
Wifewatcher Wally 2: Tyrone’s Revenge.
This is a great simulcuck game where you get to watch your virtual wife get drilled by gangbangers and ex-cons. There are interesting challenge levels where you get points for mimicking the strokes she is receiving.
Lmao
Some decent F2P: The Fishercat Ninja Fishing Burito Bison Super Toss the Turtle Tiny Rails
Some decent paid games: Bloons td 6 Turmoil (soon) Dead Cells (roguelike with RPG elements) Stardew Valley Starwars KOTOR
Definitely Bloons TD - very fun!
Yeah bloons td, my 2 year old loves it.
I enjoy Stardew Valley quite a bit It’s pretty calm and open ended, but sometimes that hits the spot I appreciate the anti-big corp undertones and the longing for a simpler existence Otherwise there are quite a few of the Final Fantasy games out there (I stick to the normal numbered ones or FF Tactics - the other ones are “free to play, pay to win” nonsense)
. Not complex like an RPG but well-done. Use headphones.
Planescape: Torment
KOTOR
Final Fantasy 4-9
Chrono Trigger
All of these cost money, but video games are worth paying money for. Anything up to $30 is worth it to play a good video game. I think these are $9.99 to $17 but they are some of the best RPGs ever made.
I know Secret of Mana is $7.99 but I’ve never played it so can’t endorse it.
I haven’t played Final Fantasy 8 or 9 but I’m sure they’re great. FF Tactics is also available and well-reviewed but I haven’t played it either.
Games are for computers, or if you're some kind of poor couch ridden fag a console.
Phones are work tools, not gaming machines.
Thank you for clearly delineating all of this for us, sir.
As if playing a game for hours on end in a tricked out nerd chair is any better than doing so from a couch.
I asked, we're allowed to play computers on couches. FYI
I'm glad we agree.
Computers are work tools too; games are for children.
