Consider the origins of the SPARTAN program, which produces Halo protagonist Master Chief Petty Officer John-117: In the midst of a deadly war that all of society has oriented itself around, a group of special children are secretly abducted from their families, replaced by “flash clones” that die within months. They are tools inhabiting whatever roles they are assigned, and they play their roles perfectly...

In some ways, it’s Animorphs with power armor. In other ways, it’s a trans woman’s childhood in allegory.

Apparently this thing doesn't realize that the SPARTAN program was supposed to be understood as a tragic crime committed on its subjects.

An inhuman supersoldier program that violated all manner of human rights, and also was a mass murder of children (and clones of children).

No wonder Spartans later started turning against the unsc and killing the people of the one world government that destroyed their lives and made them into freaks with a shortened lifespan and whose only remaining purpose in life was killing.

Kidnapped, brainwashed, experimented on, genetically mutated, surgically mutilated, grafted with cybernetic implants, then put through death games where they kill each other, and finally being sealed into a suit, all against their wills, with constant unending suffering and unimaginable levels of crippling pain and disfigurement, which kills off almost all of the children that had been subjected to the process somewhere before its completion.

Somehow this is equivalent to the trans experience.
