I'm playing it now, as a huge fan of the original. Unfortunately its kind of boring, I hate to admit it.. maybe part 2 will be better but as it stands it doesn't hold a candle to The Witcher 3 by comparison.
I didn't buy FF7RI, I pirated it, and after playing for around 11 hours and now in the train graveyard I'm very much starting to lose interest, and I'm going to have to force myself to complete it. I'm glad I didn't spend any money on it.

I dont get why just looking at a games file size is an ok metric for judging its content
Now if its 100+GB AND it looks like shit, then it's fair to be mad at it
But high Fidelity graphics and game engines are only possible with large file sizes
However, I dont think that there are many, if any, games currently on the market that should be bigger than 80gb

You would have to be a fool to buy this. Not even the full game. Another remake of it. Epic games. Price. And if you look at the processor/graphics requirements isn't really all that special.

It's a PS4 port so I expect Xbox graphics as I call them. The good part about that is a lot of times the devs put effort into making it look cool. The bad part is the target is a low end GPU and no PC fanciness like RTX and DLSS.

It's also half or less of a game lol. FFVII was on 3 CDs originally. I believe only the 1st CD was dedicated to the part of the game before you leave Midgar, which is where this remake stops for now.
