The Orcs flood in, the Elves let them in, the Tau are manipulated into adding them, the Genestealer cult of mutants are dedicated to getting infected as well (and attacking those who refuse the transformation), and all of them have fallen into the insidious worship of chaos (knowingly or not).

Yes, those elves do sound quite despicable. I tend to think of elves as the warcraft/LotR varieties.
